"I don't know where and why US Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice wants to drive. I support the case when only the nation resolves all in the sovereign state and it is the source of power and sovereignty," Sergey Mironov, the chairman of the Russian Council of Federation, told Trend on Friday.
He was commenting the recent statement by US Secretary of State on US intention to move forward with velvet revolution across CIS.
According to Mironov, advice from out and wishes on functioning to somewhere are all unnecessary. As to the giddiness from the last developments taken place in Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan, it was only replacement in power in countries with poor living conditions, weak and unconfident power.
"The living conditions in Azerbaijan and Russia are comparably higher than the neighboring countries, while the state power is legitimate, confident and takes its utmost to ensure deserved living conditions for the citizens. I don't see any threats of sacred revolutions for Azerbaijan and Russia and rather far from idea that export of revolution is so easy and everywhere yields the same results," he underscored.
