The senate asserted the state budget for 2006 of the USA State Department today (APA). The volume of the budget is 32 milliard USA dollars.
The department will also allocate means from the budget for holding democratic and economic reforms in the CIS countries. It was decided to allocate $ 95 million aid for Ukraine, $ 85 million for Russia, $ 75 million for Armenia, $ 70,5 for Georgia, $ 35 million for Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, $ 28,5 million for Uzbekistan, $ 28 million for Kazakhstan, $ 25 million for Tajikistan, $ 20 million for Moldova, $ 15 million for Belarus, and $ 6,5 millionĀ for Turkmenistan.
