Opposition MPs say they aren’t going call like-minded colleagues to join the Parliament sessions. They say it’s personal position.
As ANS reports, Qudrat Hasanguliyev, Joint Azerbaijan Popular Front Party chairman said they return would only increase the number of opposition representatives but not change the quality. Mr. Hasanguliyev said those MPs would have to make decision by March since they wouldn’t have other options to lead political struggle than joining Milli Majlis. If they don’t do that it’s the sign of “political blindness”. At the same time Mr. Hasanguliyev said MPs representing Azadliq Election bloc were willing to go in to the Parliament but the leadership of Parties included into the bloc are putting pressure on them. He forecasted that pressure would continue till PACE winter session. And when they see PACE does not make any strict comment “Azadliq” will step back. Iqbal Aghazadeh, chairman of the Umid Party doesn’t see any need to address politicians. He also didn’t agree with those of them who claim no opposition being represented at Parliament. Azadliq bloc didn’t want make any comment on what MPs told above.
