European Union calls on the citizens of its member countries not to visit Muslim countries.
As APA informs quoting the website of Foreign Ministry of Austria, which chairs the EU, Egypt, Algeria, Ethiopia, Iran, Jordan, Indonesia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and the Palestine have been declared "risk territories". Austrian Foreign Minister Ursula Plassnik has instructed the Austrian Embassies in Muslim countries to meet with high ranking officials of these countries and demand security of European citizens. U.Plassnik calling the Malaysian Ambassador, the Head of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, required him to ensure security of Europeans and diplomats living in Muslim countries. It should be noted that these concerns appeared after the publication of caricatures of Prophet Muhammad in Danish newspaper which insulted Islam. During the protests staged in Muslim countries' stones were thrown to the EU Embassies and other ways of protest were demonstrated.
