"The rise in price of Russian gas is not pressure upon the neighbors but transition to market principles," - Deputy Prime Minister, Defense Minister of Russia Sergey Ivanov said.
As APA informs, Ivanov made this statement as a response to American Senator John McClain's words of Russian aim to put pressure upon Ukraine and Georgia by its gas policy: "We don't put any pressure upon our neighbors. You are either misinformed or you misunderstand us. The rise in gas price concerns everyone, including our close ally Armenia".
