First Israeli MP of Azerbaijani origin will arrive in Baku soon, Arthur Lenk, the Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan, informs.
According to Trend, Joseph Shagal was elected to the Israeli Knesset as a result of the 28 March 2006 parliamentary elections. "Shagal is mountain Jewish lived in Baku, he left for Israel after collapse of USSR. The deputy ran for the parliamentary elections from "Israel Our Home" Party. Earlier he worked as journalist at 9th channel of the Israeli TV," Lenk stressed.
