French senator Valerie Boyer cannot live a day without thinking about Azerbaijan. Sometimes it seems that the successes of Baku haunt the pro-Armenian politician and she is unable to live a single day without fictitious accusations against Azerbaijan.
So it is this time. On her social network X, Madame Boyer again started talking about some “prisoners who are languishing in Baku prisons,” while keeping silent about the fact that the prisoners are real criminals with documented crimes.
Ursula von der Leyen also suffered from the French senator, whom the Frenchwoman accused of turning a blind eye to the violations of Azerbaijan by the head of the European Commission.
Living in her cozy echo chamber, Madame Boyer will never understand the simple truth. Her opinion doesn't matter to anyone at all. Not in Baku, not in Europe, not even in Armenia. After all, for the Armenian diaspora it is simply a tool with the help of which Armenians try to achieve their political goals. She won't be there, another Valerie will appear. So the value of her opinion is zero for all parties.
As for the real impact on the situation, the possibility and probability of such an outcome is zero. After all, if Madame Boyer’s endless stream of spam on social networks would have already had an effect. Even if you write a thousand times on social networks, nothing will change, because politicians know perfectly well what is happening, where it is happening and how it is happening. And the desires and personal ambitions of any senators do not greatly concern political heavyweights.
And what is the French senator trying to achieve in this situation, besides proving that she is the most pro-Armenian among all the senators? Well, maybe the Armenians will give her more money, but that’s all it will be.
And since we are talking about human rights, why is Madame Boyer keeping silent about the events in New Caledonia? Does she really think that there were no violations there? Or does her distorted perception of the world around her prevent her from noticing the obvious?
Boyer, like her colleagues in the Senate, would do well to solve problems within their competence before teaching life to other countries.
