In Davos today, Nikol Pashinyan stated with pathos that Armenia "extends the hand of friendship to everyone" – to Russia, Iran, Europe, Azerbaijan, and Turkiye. But let’s call a spade a spade – this "hand of friendship" is more like the hand of a beggar asking for change. It doesn't matter who holds it, as long as they give something.

Instead of taking real action, Yerevan just keeps complaining and asking for help. Pashinyan's words in Davos basically sound like "help anyone who can." But in geopolitics, alms are not given. Strength is respected here, not whining.

Maybe it’s time to stop asking and start working? Or do the vagabonds in the Armenian government lack both the strength and the will to do so?
