The 4th sitting of Azerbaijan-Pakistan intergovernmental commission will be held in September this year in Islamabad and Azerbaijan delegation will be headed by Yagub Eyyubov, the first deputy Prime Minister.
Pakistani ambassador to Azerbaijan Muhammad Hafiz gave information about it, visiting Western area of Azerbaijan. The commission has some ideas about developing cooperation. It covers the spheres of textile industry, agriculture, energetic, construction engineering, and information technologies. It will be possible to realize some projects in regions. Pakistani diplomat highly appreciated the economical potential of the Western regions, getting familiar with the economical condition in the area. There is good opportunity here for cooperation and it's possible to realize interesting projects. Generally, the ambassador was pleased with his visit to the Western area. Muhammad Hafiz visited tombs of genius poet Nizami Ganjavi and national hero of Azerbaijan nation Javad Khan in Ganja. And the ambassador got wide information about creation and activity of first democratic Republic in the East Azerbaijan Democratic Republic. /www.ans.az/
