Polish Parliament's European Affairs Commission head Karol Karski and parliamentarian Malgojata Sadurskaya held press conference on their visit to Azerbaijan.

Highly appreciating the visit, Karol Karski said Poland-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Friendship Group will be established at the Polish parliament. He said he and Malgojata will enter the friendship group when it is established, APA reports.

"This is the first visit of Polish parliamentary delegation to Azerbaijan. I think we need to expand interparliamentary ties first in order to expand cooperation between the two states in various spheres," Mr.Karski said.

The Polish Sejm member said his country recognizes territorial integrities of all states, including Azerbaijan. Commenting on the Polish Parliament's recognizing the so-called "Armenian genocide", Karski said all crimes should be reproached.

"I am not informed about the Khojali genocide. Azerbaijan has not appealed to us regarding this issue. If we are presented with materials on the genocide perpetrated in Khojali, we can discuss and issue a statement about that," he said.
