Extraordinary summit of the OIC Executive Committee at the level of head of state/government will take place in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur on August 3, 2006, with the participation of the concerned and interested member states.
As APA reports, the meeting is organized by the OIC trio-acting chairman Malaysia, former chairman Qatar and next chairman Senegal. The extraordinary summit will focus on the problems challenging the world, in particular the Israel-Lebanon conflict. President Ilham Aliyev will also attend the summit. Iranian Foreign Ministry official Hamid Rza said President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will participate in the meeting too.
