Armenian units positioned 1 kilometer from the village of Gyulyustan in the Azerbaijani district of Geranboy opened upon assault rifle and machinegun fire on Azerbaijani army positions and only stopped shooting after the Azerbaijanis returned fire, the ministry said.

The skirmish caused no losses.
