Jordan's Prime Minister and Defense Minister Marouf Al Bakhit received on Wednesday Col. Gen. Najmaddin Sadihov, the First Deputy of the Azerbaijani Defense Minister and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Bakhit praised relations between Jordan and Azerbaijan, noting that the recent visit of His Majesty King Abdullah II to Azerbaijan was positive and fruitful. He said that he would visit Azerbaijan at the head of a businessmen delegation early next month to activate relations between the two countries in the economic and trade fields. The Azeri official for his part affirmed the importance of increasing cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the defense field, as well as the exchange of expertise and visits. He also expressed his country's willingness to benefit from expertise of the King Abdullah Design and Development Bureau (KADDB) Later today Najmaddin Sadihov was received by His Majesty King Abdullah II. Talks during the meeting, which was attended by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff? of Jordan General Khalid Jamil Sarayrah, focused on cooperation between the two countries and ways of developing it in all fields.
