A part of the monastery was in Azerbaijani territory during post Soviet period. This is historic-cultural monument, and I do not deny of getting compromise on this problem. The territories on the border lines can be exchanged on the agreement; this precedent is widely applied in world practice," he said. According to the agreement with Azerbaijani side, the border services should coordinate their activity mutually," the deputy minister said.
