Co-rapporteurs of the Monitoring Committee of Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to Azerbaijan Tony Lloyd and Andres Herkel on November 1 have met with the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan Republic Masher Panahov, the CEC press service told.
CEC Chairman noted use and significance of cooperation with the Council of Europe. The visitors interested in results of the municipal repeat, new and by-elections conducted on October 6 in the Republic, current staff of the election commissions, their forming principles, consideration of appeals and other questions. Co-rapporteurs appraised CEC’s cooperation with the Council of Europe's Venice Commission and welcomed consideration of appeals in transparent order. AzerTAg
