Trial on the case of Azerbaijani Army reserve officer Pyotr Mocalov accused of espionage for Russian special service will be held in Military Court for Grievous Crimes yesterday.
The trial presided over by Mursel Aliyev will be closed. Pyotr Mocalov is found guilty in giving the military and state intelligence to Russia for money. Pyotr Mocalov, born in Baku in 1961, served in former USSR Army. He got military education in St. Petersburg. He has served in Azerbaijani Army since 1992, was reserved as a captain in 1998. He gave the intelligence to Russia from which he got $300-400 while working as an assistant of Staff chief in Nakhchevan. He was arrested in October last year, APA reports.
