The ambassador told the APA it is important to eliminate the visa regime in order to develop relations between the countries. He noted there is need for development of economic relations.

Growth of trade turnover serves the interests of both countries. Our target is to increase trade turnover by over $1b. We will try to achieve in 2008. For this we try to promote investments from both sides. We negotiate with Turkish businessmen arriving in Azerbaijan regarding this issue, the ambassador noted.
