A meeting of the Iran-Azerbaijan Intergovernmental Commission in Baku will take place after the protocol of the meeting is defined, as reported by the Iranian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Nasir Hamidi Zare.

Foreign Minister of Iran Manuchehr Motakki will also visit Azerbaijan on this occassion.

He will represent Iran in this commission.

The ambassador also said that multilateral negotiations will be carried out during the meeting of the commission and due documents be signed on all fields.

“Though the documents to be signed have not yet been defined, we will exchange views on agriculture, industry, energy, transport and other sectors,” he said.

The ambassador said that the date of the meeting of the fivefold work group on the status of Caspian Sea to be held in Tehran has not yet been specified.

Though the meeting of the fivefold work group was fixed to December 25-26, 2007, it has been put off.
