Ceasefire on the border with Azerbaijan is preserved owing to the high level of the Armenian Armed Forces.
The due statement was made by colonel-general Seyran Oganyan, head of the joint staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, first deputy Minister of Defense, said during the meeting with the teaching staff of the Yerevan State University.
"Owing to the level of our Army, we have managed to ensure security of our borders without use of external forces on the contact line with the energy in conditions of "neither war, not peace" since 1994. This is the result of preserving the qualitative balance of forces on the front", Oganyan noted.
