A CoE mission on the mass media issues has arrived in Baku today.
The due information has been provided by the CoE Baku information office.
As is reported, the mission includes Mrs Francesco Klopfer, responsible for mass media issues in Azerbaijan of the department of law and human rights under the CoE directorate general and two independent experts in this sphere Emmanuel Lucber (France) and David Goldberg (Great Britain).
In the framework of the visit, the delegation will hold meetings with government members, representatives of the parliament, mass media and civil society.
A source from the CoE Baku office noted that the visit aims to collect information regarding prospects of cooperation. A plan of actions will be worked out by results of the visit.
The visit will last until February 22.
