"There are no ideal lists of voters in the world".
The due announcement was made by Mazahir Panakhov, chairman of the Central Election Commission.
He said in some European countries, the election commissions are not responsible for the formation of lists and this is a responsibility of citizens.
"In these countries, the citizens should come to the election points and put their names on the list. Our lists of voters are more precise than those of the European countries", Panakhov noted.
He said that local executive powers are responsible for compiling lists of voters.
"Elections are democratic, transparent and meet requirements of legislative basis in our country", Panakhov noted.
