Ali Kerimli, chairman of the Azerbaijan Popular Front Party, was invited to the National session of the US Democratic Party.
The party chairman said he decided to take part in the session.
"As is known, I was not provided with a foreign passport. In this connection, I have already taken documents from the Supreme Court and appealed to the Nasimi District Court once again. I hope that the problem with my foreign passport will be settled before the session to take part from August 24 until August 28 and take part in the work of the said arrangement.
The session will be attended by representatives of about 100 countries of the world, therefore our country should do everything possible to issue a foreign passport to me, otherwise, it may turn into an international scandal", said Kerimli.
It should be added that candidates for president and vice president of the United States will be nominated at the session of the US Democratic Party.
