"Social-Democratic party of Azerbaijan has twice boycotted the elections and according the result this tactics is not effective", said party chairman Araz Alizade.
He noted that in line with decision of the 2003 session, the party will participate in all election processes.
"We do not intend to boycott the elections, as we have no quorum to state that the voters will not attend the elections and they will not take place. The election ballot does not have a point according to which the voters could vote against all, while Azadlyg bloc has decided to boycott elections to draw attention", said he.
Asked about the candidate from the party, Alizade said:
"The Social-Democratic Party of Azerbaijan will take part in the presidential elections but the candidate will be defined in the near future", said Alizade.
