"Under pretense of not having an office, opposition is spreading negative rumors about the government and the state committee for state property management, said chairman of Ana Veten party, MP Fazail Aghamaly.

He said the Ana Veten party also appealed to the state committee with a request to allocate an office for the headquarters. The state committee offered several variants to the party, yet as they were not suitable, the party hired an office.

"Naturally, in the current conditions it is hard to pay a rent, but if a party exists, it should ensure a space for itself. The situation with office provision by the state has changed. If previously the state could ensure an office for a political party in the center of the cirt, now it is difficult to do. The property has been privatized and now put for rent.

The state does not provide parties with office anywhere in the world. There is a regulation, in line with which a political structure finds a place for itself and the state committee ratifies it. I think the party's statements to be groundless, for if a political structure is not able to rent 100 square meters for its activity, it should leave the political stage", noted Aghamaly.

The deputy added that the state committee is considering the letter of the party and is looking for an office.
