Representatives of the Umid party have faced an interference of the police during the meeting with the students at the International university of Azerbaijan, said plenipotentiary representative of the presidential candidate Anver Aghazade.

He said the police detained the two activists of the party for half an hour after which the activists were released.

"The police released the activists after they learned that the main purpose of our meeting with students is to inform them about the platform of our candidate. After this we were not created any obstacles", noted he.

Aghazade also said that the meetings were held at the Baku State University, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, as well as the Azerbaijan Technical University. On par with it, the party also holds meetings in the regions of the country.
