"Our party is always struggling with officials who deceive the citizens of Azerbaijan", said chairman of the Muasir Musavat party and presidential candidate Hafiz Mustafayev.
He said it is impossible to stay indifferent to the work of head of Azerigaz Alikhan Melikov.
"Today most Baku residents face great problems with gas supply, I do not even speak about the gas supplies in the regions. There are places where it is completely absent in Azerbaijan.
Our party will not let head of Azerigaz to deceive the president by such populist announcements and make senseless statements. It is impossible to bypass the fact that our gas is sold abroad, when Azerbaijan has problems with it.
We are the party, which is fighting against such negative moments. In this connection, Alikhan Melikov must correct his mistakes.
I would not want such people as Alikhan Melikov to retain powers", said he.
Hajiyev noted that the Baku mayor's office did not sanction the meeting of the Muasir Musavat party, which it was planning to hold near the Sevinj cinema on October 11.
He said the mayor's office recommended to hold the action in Bibi-Eybat.
"How can they allow holding the meeting near this cinema to Fazil Qazanfaroghlu and send us to the Bibi-Eybat settlement? We have no opportunities to take people there, therefore, we do not intend to hold our meeting due to this injustice. I will point out this negative fact during the TV debates", concluded Hajiyev.
