Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that both Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin expressed positive statements to their proposal to mutually lift visa requirements.

We will hold a meeting of the Turkish-Russian Business Council in Istanbul and hope that this meeting will be crowned with the lifting of visa requirements between the two countries, after his arrival from Moscow, Prime Minister Erdogan also told reporters at the airport.
