Turkey will send a financial aid of 1 million USD to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus following recent flood disaster.

Turkey will send a financial aid of 1 million USD to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) following recent flood disaster.

The Turkish Embassy in Lefkosa said in a statement on Tuesday that floods triggered by torrential rains caused heavy damage in Guzelyurt and adjacent areas.

"The Turkish government has decided to send a financial aid of 1 million USD to the TRNC as an effort to give a helping hand to Turkish Cypriot people who were badly affected by the flood disaster," the statement added.
