The Islamic Republic of Iran's non-oil exports to neighboring countries increased 27 percent in the first 9 months of the current Iranian fiscal year (started Mach 20, 2009), a Trade Promotion Organization said.

Iran's non-oil exports to neighboring countries reached $7,124,937,000 in the mentioned period, Reza Tofighi said adding that the figure in the same period of last year stood at $5,604,439,000.
The exports show a 44 percent growth in the current year, he said.

Iran has exported cement, audible oil, pistachio, fresh and dried fruits, saffron, pepper, shoes, chewing gum, etc. to its neighboring countries including Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Turkey, Iraq, Pakistan and United Arab Emirates, he mentioned.
