Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will pay a formal visit to Ireland on March 9-11.
Foreign Ministry released a statement and said this would be the first formal visit to this country in foreign ministerial level after 19 years.
Davutoglu will be received by Irish President Mary McAleese and meet Foreign Minister Micheal Martin and several other executives.
Main regional and international matters as well as Turkey's EU membership bid, and bilateral relations would be discussed during Davutoglu's talks with Irish officials.
Davutoglu will also address Irish Parliament EU Affairs Joint Committee.
Turkish foreign minister is also expected to make presentation on Turkey's foreign policy in University College Dublin, International Relations and Europe Institution, which is the leading think-tank organization of Ireland.
