On March 11, Georgian opposition leaders met with Polish PM Donald Tusk in Tbilisi.

The sides discussed the upcoming elections, condition of democracy in the country and foreign threats, opposition leaders said after the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Georgi Targamadze, Christian-Democratic movement leader, David Berdzenishvili, the Republican party representative, Irakli Alasania, the Alliance for Georgia leader, David Gamkrelidze, the New Rights chairman, Kakha Kukava, the Conservative party secretary general and Georgi Khaindrava, the Protect Georgia leader.

Alasania announced the parties discussed the situation in Abkhazia and South Ossetia, role of Poland as the EU member for Georgia, and interior political situation in the country.

In the view of Alasania, the way Georgia will hold these elections will determine its relations with foreign partners, including the EU.
