Syrian private airline company Cham Wings launched its first Damascus-Istanbul flight on Monday.

There were 165 passengers, including artists, journalists and businessmen, in the first flight of the plane.

Cham Wings airlines will reciprocally fly to Istanbul three times a week, on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The company will start flights to Turkey's Sabiha Gokcen International Airport and southern province of Antalya starting as of July.
