Guantanamo Bay ex-prisoners have arrived in Georgia.
According to Shota Utaiashvili, spokesman of the Interior Ministry, the former prisoners were handed over at morning on March 23.
He declined to call their names but mentioned they are of no threat for society.
"They were not even charged. They just sympathized with Al-Qaeda. Our representatives studied their cases and their mental and moral condition, and made sure they were not dangerous for society," Utiashvili stated.
Guantanamo Bay ex-inmates will not be imprisoned, they will live at large, like usual citizens.
The Ministry refused to reveal their location.
