The Turkish finance minister met his Saudi Arabian counterpart in Ankara on Thursday.
Turkey's Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek had a one-on-one meeting with his Saudi Arabian counterpart Ibrahim Abd al-Aziz al-Assaf at his office in Ankara, and then a meeting took place between Turkish and Saudi Arabian delegations.
Al-Assaf is actually paying a formal visit to Turkey.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is expected to receive al-Assaf later on Thursday.
Al-Assaf will also meet Rifat Hisarciklioglu, the chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
