No one will harm Turkish-Azerbaijani relations, Turkish Grand National Assembly member from the Nationalist Movement Party Rashad Dogru said.

"Mehmet Ali Birand is one of those people whom the Nationalist Movement Party member do not like. Turkey and Azerbaijan are two states in the presence of one nation. Nobody will be able to hit these fraternal relations in any form," Dogru told Trend.

Strengthening of the Turkish-Azerbaijani relations, strong rebuff of the two countries towards pressure from certain centers of power, the basic position of the fraternal countries cause serious concern of Turkey's and Azerbaijani opponents.

Turkish journalist Birand has been conducting anti-Azerbaijani propaganda for a long period of time. Azerbaijani  press responded by sound arguments on the author's claim of an article published April 15 in the newspaper "Hurriyyet". The following article (dated April 28) shows that Birand was instructed to conduct "revision" of Azerbaijani-Turkish relations, make a possible blow on fraternal relations.

Dogru said that some forces are seriously concerned about the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey. Officials from the two countries should closely cooperate in all spheres, to prevent the spread of anti-Turkish and anti-Azerbaijani statements.

"I believe, it does not worth paying much importance to the articles and views on the relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey," he said.
