“Iran does not recognize bilateral agreements signed between littoral states on division of the Caspian seabed”, Special envoy of Iranian president on Caspian issues Mohammad Mehdi Akhundzadeh said, APA reports quoting Interfax.

“Principal position of Iran is that each agreement on Caspian’s legal status must be based on consensus and justice. Iran does not recognize the agreements signed between Russia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan on division of the Caspian seabed”, he said.
