Famous Turkish Singer Ibrahim Tatlises, who was critically wounded after a drive-by shooting in İstanbul last month, left Acibadem Private Hospital early Wednesday morning for Germany, where he will receive special medical treatment.
A private ambulance picked Tatlises up at 5 a.m. yesterday morning and took him to Istanbul Atatürk Airport, from where he flew to Germany. Travelling with a special police convoy, the ambulance was followed by close friends and family as well as members of the press.
He was transported to Germany on a Health Ministry plane that left Istanbul at 6 a.m.
Tatlises was in critical condition after receiving bullets to the head in a shooting in which 11 rounds were fired shortly after h e left a television network building in Istanbul on March 14.
