Discussions on fulfillment of obligations and commitments by Georgia as a member of the Council of Europe will be held at the spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), which takes place in Strasbourg from April 11 to April 15, 2011. As the CE Tbilisi Office said, the debate is scheduled for April 12.

Georgia’s responsibility will be discussed in the Monitoring Committee on Tuesday, and also given consideration at the PACE session on Wednesday.

Based on the discussions, decisions will be made whether to also continue future monitoring of the situation in Georgia and the fulfillment of its obligations as prescribed by the Council of Europe.
