An unusual teahouse has been inaugurated in Aghdash region of Azerbaijan. Businesslike host has opened the teahouse inside a 10-meter tree, which is over 300 years old.
Resident of Aghdash Adil Abbasov said in an interview that many visitors perceive the old tree as something supernatural and unusual.
"The teahouse is cool in summer, while is warm in winter," he said, adding that the teahouse attracts great attention of tourists, who take photographs of the tree and shoot it on video.
Another unusual teahouse also operates in Azerbaijan's Massali region. Unlike the previous teahouse, it is not inside a tree, it is on top of it! Everyone, who wants to enjoy tea, should climb on the 35-meters-high tree. What's interesting - there are no waiters, visitors receive their orders by cable track.
The founder of this place, Magsud Shiraliyev emphasized a high number of those who want to try a tasty tea at a height of 35 meters.
"I am a dreamer, and I like all unusual," he said. "I wanted to do something, that other teahouses do not have. Thus, I added a table and bench on the tree with the help of my friends. Tea is delivered there from the second floor of the teahouse via cable track."
The original idea was supported by many people. The news of the unusual teahouse spread instantly. Soon people from neighboring villages, who wanted to enjoy the air cafe, began to come to the village.
The next unusual teahouse is located in Azerbaijan's Zagatala region, and is also on the top of a tree. The only difference from the previous teahouse is that there are stairways, which provide access to top of the tree.
Pure mountain air, relict trees, exotic plants, the sound of water and aromatic tea are the real cure for tiredness and sadness, because there it is possible to rest both the body and soul.
None of important events in the life of Azerbaijanis is complete without tea. Azerbaijanis begin any meal with tea and end with it, and householder will bring you tea even when you do not plan to stay too long.
You certainly will find a teahouse in any Azerbaijani village, but unlike Central Asian teahouses, where you will be served a hearty meal, teahouses in Azerbaijan serve only tea with various sweets. Only men go to the teahouse - for them it is a kind of men's club, where they discuss recent news, read newspapers, make plans, play backgammon and keep in touch with friends and neighbors.
This magnificent tradition of tea parties gains new and new features in Azerbaijan which is also famous for its tasteful national tea. To add more colors and majesty to it now owners of teahouses try to apply new trends in this business. And all is done just to satisfy the visitors.
