'Moscow' department store, located in Nasimi district of Baku, burst into flame on March 14 morning, the eyewitnesses told Trend on March 14.
Firefighters of the State Fire Service under the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived.
The fire was extinguished, the ministry reported.
The combustible escalator structure and storefronts burned on a 50 square meter area on the first floor of 'Moscow' four-storey shopping center, the ministry reported on March 14.
The rest territory of the shopping center was protected from fire.
