An underwater earthquake has today jolted the Caspian Sea.
The earthquake occurred at 18:14 local time at a depth of 40 kilometres, the Republican Seismological Service Center of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences told Trend.
The quake measured 3.3 on the Richter scale, while tremors were not felt.
