EuroNews reports that after two failed attempts, the NASA probe New Horizons has finally got off the ground. It is on its way to Pluto - the only unexplored planet in the solar system. Lift-off should have happened on Tuesday but high winds at the launch pad at Cape Canaveral in Florida put paid to that. Then on Wednesday a power cut at mission control in Maryland caused a postponement.
