According to the decision of 120th conference of Executive Board of World Health Organization Azerbaijan's First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva was awarded the prize of organization for her merits in strengthening and protection of mother, child and family health.

Health Ministry press service told the APA that Ogtay Asadov, who participates in the 120th conference of the EB held in Geneva, said that this decision was passed on January 29. The prize will be given in the World Health Assembly to be held in May in Geneva where 193 states will take part in.

It should be noted that, Bill Gates, Dr. Hose Antonio Socrates, Maestro Gilermina Natera Rey, Dr. Tan Seyn, Dr. Nabil Kronfol were also awarded this prize.
