Today trial on case of former Health Minister Ali Insanov and ten more defendants accused of embezzlement, abuse of power and bribery continued at Azerbaijan's Court of Grave Crimes.

The sitting is presided over by Judge Faig Gasimov, APA reports.

The trial delayed for an hour as some lawyers and accused were late to the process. Ex-Minister again asked the court to invite the chief of State Committee on Management of State Property Karam Hasanov, former Economic Development Minister Farhad Aliyev, the chief of State Students' Admission Commission Maleyka Abbaszade and the chief of President's Office Humanitarian Department Fatma Abdullazada to court to give testimony.

Former chief of Polyclinic department of Kyurdamir Central Hospital Asgar Kerimov testified saying he was dismissed from his position in 1994 on Minister's letter.

He also said nine other officials were dismissed in the meeting of the Ministry. Head of Medical University Micro-Biology Chair Zakir Garayev also noted that the minister dismissed him too. He said Nasimi Court passed decision on his reinstatement, but he was not reinstated. Head physician of Epidemiology Clinic Vurghun Muradov said he did not have any information about privatization of drug-store attached to the clinic.

The trial will continue in the second half of the day.
