Azeri grandmaster Teimour Radjabov will participate in the 16th international Melodi Amber tournament to start tomorrow in Monte Carlo, Monaco.
Other grandmasters including Viswanathan Anand (India), present world champ Vladimir Kramnik (Russia), Vassily Ivanchuk (Russia), Boris Gelfand (Israel), Peter Svidler (Russia), Magnus Carlsen (Norway), Loek Van Wely (Netherlands) and Francisco Vallejo (Spain) will also join the tournament. The competitors will play blind and rapid chess. Only Radjabov and Carslen are debutants in the competition the total prize of which is ?216.000. APA-Sport
