Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev visited Kyung Hee University in Seoul, South Korea.
The president first met with the president, rector, professors of the university. Following this, a solemn ceremony was held, and Azerbaijani president was awarded honorary doctorate mantle, order and medal. President of the university Dr. Inwon Choue said that Ilham Aliyev was awarded for maintenance of peace and security, and his contributions to the development of his country. President Ilham Aliyev made speech and underlined that State Program on Azerbaijanis' studying abroad has been adopted and negotiations on Azerbaijanis' studying in Korea continue. He said that Azerbaijan is the leader country for its economic growth. Touching upon regional problems, the president said that the greatest problem is Armenia's occupation of Azerbaijani lands and its hard consequences. "We will liberate our lands. Status of autonomy based on international law norms can be given to Nagorno Karabakh," Azerbaijani president said. President of World Taekwondo Federation Chungwon Choue addressed the participants. He noted that much attention is paid to sports, including taekwondo in Azerbaijan. APA
