Lifer Dayanat Kerimov, accused of vice-speaker Afiyeddin Jalilov's assassination continues hunger strike demanding commuting his life sentence to 15-year imprisonment.
Prisoner's relatives told the APA that Kerimov has started hunger strike since April 16. Nazim Alekberov, Deputy Justice Minister, chief of Penitentiary Service refuted the fact. The deputy minister said the protesters stopped hunger strike. About 40 prisoners were said to have started hunger strike on April 16.
