"We are working to make the world aware of the facts of destruction Azerbaijan’s historical monuments by Armenians. Booklets, collections, publications are printed to be exhibited in different actions at international level," Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfaz Garayev told the journalists.
Minister said Mehriban Aliyeva sponsored book "Staraya Shusha" (Ancient Shusha) is being translated into Azerbaijan from Russian now stressing that 5 books were published on West Azerbaijani's historical monuments. As to presentation of Azerbaijani historical monuments as Karabakh monuments in world museums and exhibitions, the Minister said works on this field is being done. "The common view is that this name should be accompanied with note “The date relating to contemporary Azerbaijan," he said. Garayev said Louvre museum's director is to come to Azerbaijan on May 28.
