Opening of Azerbaijani culture days was held in Minsk on May 22.
The delegation led by Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev participated in the ceremony. State Folk Instruments Orchestra and Azerbaijan State Dancing Ensemble performed in the ceremony. Singers Teyyub Aslanov, Aygun Bayramova, Gulnaz Ismayilova, Azer Zeynalov, Aygun Kazimova and Faig Agayev also sang in the ceremony. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko sent a letter to the participants of Azerbaijani Culture Days. "Belarus and Azerbaijan have long-standing and strong ties of friendship and cooperation in the political, economic and socio-cultural fields. Today the relations are developing especially actively and dynamically in the interests of the two states," the President underlined. "May this creative event promote spiritual and cultural links, bringing the two countries closer to each other," the message of greeting reads. The works of modern, classical and young Azerbaijani artists will also be exhibited in the framework of Azerbaijani Culture Days in Belarus. APA
