President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has issued an executive order to establish the Oil Museum in Baku.
The museum will be established to study and popularize the history of Azerbaijan`s oil industry.
Establishment of the Oil Museum is needed for popularizing 160-year history of Azerbaijan`s oil industry and successes achieved in this sector, according to the executive order.
State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) should submit its proposals on establishment of the Oil Museum to the President within a month.
